Working with Ocean in a one-month SEO setup, the goals were to choose optimized keywords in order to drive traffic to the corporate finance company’s website.
Ocean chose four pages to optimize for as part of a robust keyword research strategy.
Keyword research involved researching relevant keywords for each page and getting search volume, competition and search engine ranks for the website.
Ocean then implemented anywhere from 3-5 keywords into the on-page content for four optimized pages, plus the home page. The setup also involved implementing website navigation and site architecture recommendations.
- The corporate finance company had just two of Ocean’s optimized keywords ranking in the top position when Ocean began its setup in August of 2016, and the company had a total of four keywords ranking in the top 10 of Google’s search results. In June of 2017, 6 keywords were ranking No. 1, and a total of 11 keywords were ranking in the top 10 of Google’s search results
